Iridescent hues of people…

Each one of us a unique creation of god, marked by a unique blend of personality and character.
Standing out for our principles and beliefs, ideologies influenced and inspired by our surrounding and upbringing.
But then who is complaining, life would have been a dead bore with clones.
To add spice to your life you need people who baffle you with their idiosyncrasies and intelligence at the same time.

There is Nivedita Rao as sweet as one can get. When I while away my time reading novels instead of studyng during the PL’s I know there is a crazy friend of mine who must have in all probability finished that same novel two days back.
Soft spoken, angelic face and naïve approach are attributes that set her apart.

Then there is Ramya the ultimate gossip queen. Knows every story right from the neighbour who ran away with the auto rickshaw wallah to the lip job done by Aishwarya.
One whose phone bills run upto some 9000 bucks, some one as funky in appearance as her attitude towards her dear ones.

Offcoz the great Jyothsna Chandrapti……
Total nutcase, pretty face and a logical mind slower than the tortoise.
But a studious girl which is in complete contras too her laidback and lazy lifestyle.
A person who meets everything with equanimity and chilled out attitude.

How can I forget the hot blood Tejas Bhamburkar aka bamboo…
Stands at 6ft 3” who can talk 24/7 and terribly hooked on to his friends.
Meticulous in his work and concerned with everyone else’s life.
Friends are v important to him yet we become invisible once Jyo is there J.

Sushant Dewan aka CD the one and only guy in our group who is concerned about his professional life. Also the only one who cares to lecture a bunch of morons like us on our respective careers. A great listener, my confidant and a brilliant mathematician.

Purnima well what to say about this crazy character. Top in her acads and maturity that is unmatched. Have been a dutiful daughter and like a mother to her little sis.

Divya sharma charming personality, cute boy friend, responsible in her work and frugal.
Doing an engg course of four years yet no interest in technical side. A dream girl with eyes set on IIMs.

Ladies and Gentlemen meet Chithu, confusion etched on her face day in and out. Have the reputation of a studious girl but in reality a lazy bum.

Shweta weirdest creature walking on the earth. The person who is misunderstood to be rude by one and all yet the gentlest creature alive.

Sleeping a passion for Swati Suri, will try to skirt all work for sleep.Stubborn as hell on her decisions and sweet as heaven in person.

Ghosh they all are so different, yet they add a new meaning to my everyday life.
Their eccentricities and disparities have added some interesting pieces to the puzzle of my life.

Luv you all.

Dance my milieu...

Dance has the capacity to make ugly Betty look like Cinderella.
It can wipe out your stage fear and lets you conquer the world with your grace and charm.
It brings out the real you, the one that was lying under the veil of self doubt and insecurity.
Are these words just music to your ears or do they have a ring of truth in them.

The best that I feel I can justify my claims is by presenting my own dance group.
A person who never took the mantle of leadership, who would come across as person who would like to b guided all the way.
But hidden was a quality to prove to the world that she is very much capable of handling her responsibilities.
Dancing gave her a platform to showcase her talent, to show to the world that she is the mistress of her world.

A person bestowed with a pretty face yet as confused about her life as she is about herself.
But few know that once she knows what she wants to do, her work has a finesse and beauty unmatched.
This comes across in her graceful dancing.
Her each and every movement shows a grace that comes inherently.

A person who cribs and fidgets all day about her looks all day.
A person who in spite of the whole world assuring her that she looks good is uncomfortable and is shrouded in the doubt of her capabilities.
But when she is own stage she is the most beautiful person to behold … why?
Because that moment she lets herself out without restrain.
She feels beautiful and the world knows she is.

Dance in a way brings out team work.
When a couple dances, the girl trusts the guy to guide her.
In return she trusts her belief and judgment.
The guy learns to respect women, to hold her with care, with love yet with a dignity which is a rare virtue.

There is no form of dancing.
Dance whatever you feel like doing.
Standards are set by humans not god hence are meant to be broken and re invented.
So shed your inhibitions, self doubt and dance away your feelings.
Remember dance does not need a great dancer or time or choreographer, you just need the HEART to dance.

Have we lost ourselves.......

Friendship …Friendship …Friendship
Haven’t we been exposed to this word since time immemorial?
This is one human relationship which has been the essence, the starting plug, the life of all relationships.
Everyone craves for great friends, friends who will be there for you in sickness and happiness.
People who cherish you the way god has made you, admonish your wrong ways, applaud your achievements, guide you through rough times, nurture your dreams and celebrate with you your special moments.
But …………
has this new scientific world maimed this gentle, delicate and beautiful world of friendship.
Today’s world has transformed people into machines, machines that go on and on with no time for such mundane things as friendship.
Today we are so engrossed in our day to day work; we don’t find time for simple things as enquiring your friend’s well being and health.
Today’s youth equate friendship to hangouts.
This era has proved to be a boon as well as a curse.
World is scattered with opportunities and people are just desperate to grab them.
Life style has become luxurious but human feelings have taken a backseat.
People are so bedazzled by their success that they tend to overlook the persons they have lost in their way.
Now people come up with justification that “To achieve something you have to sacrifice some things”, true, but not yourself.
You, your soul crave for human touch, human emotions not materialistic things.
What’s the use of all these materialistic things that you have garnered if you have no one to share that with?
If you can’t enjoy what you have achieved what was the big idea of achieving it.
What we need to know is the balancing act.
Take out time for your loved ones because they are the ones who will even at the age of 90 say “You are a great human being”.
Be with them during their special moments; during bad times make them feel they can always find a support in you.
In return you will feel content and happy and never be lonely and alone.
Take out time to feel and enjoy the iridescent hues of life.

Great expectations

Life is magnificent, each one of us just small entities trying to fathom the beautiful exquisite word life.
But do we need to be scared of what’s in store for us in life.
Hasn’t our experience till now taught us one valuable lesson that nothing is in our hands yet everything is connected to our doings?
We have no right to dictate its terms, yet it unfolds in ways that seems to b linked in an obscure way.
Every relationship, every day, each moment, every look, every smile, every handshake has immense value.
Each one of them gives us tools to live this life to the fullest; it’s up to us to grab them.
Don't expect anything from life, from friends, from your family,
Your are here to live life, give life to someone else’s journey not to take away something that doesn’t belong to you in the first place.
Who are you to expect.
Do you think you are that great a person to expect?
Be humble enough to not expect. Expectation is the venom that destroys our life, the meaning to our existence.
Doing something in return for something is itself the bane to your very existence.
You feel content in getting the expected but getting the unexpected is glorious.
There is a beautiful rose in store for us every moment, but to hold the beauty you need to feel the thorns first.
Live life freely savor every moment, laugh out loud when you are happy, smile when you are content, cry if you are sad, because those moments well never come back.
That’s the beauty of life, it never lets you relive the moments that has elapsed. Past is to cherished, present to be lived and future to be anticipated.
